“Trying to get down to the heart of the matter” sang Don Henley. Uranus is catching up with the South Node of the Moon in Aries. As in life, this is not a physical point but rather a marker in time referencing the past. Uranus who lives in a highly mental and unpredictable vibration can be so “out there” we can be shocked, amazed, or ready to call it “just weird” when Uranus is around. Nevertheless, there is a reason he is choosing to reckon with our past with a level of courage and bravery. He is showing up in a fiery Martian capacity to cut ties if necessary to begin anew. The vitality of Aries calls forth the individual to honor that bold weirdo inside them and let go of the fear of being different. In mentally contemplating our past, we can choose to approach the healing by carrying the passion forward and detaching from it being personal. We can allow for the awakening of our genius within who seeks to engage in relationship if it is in balance and authentic.
As the spotlight of the Capricorn Sun focuses our awareness around our psyche and the deeper yearning of our souls with its visit with Pluto, we have to balance the desire to build, produce, grow, and become wiser with our hearts and emotions. The Cancer Full Moon is the Great Mother. The Moon is ruled by Cancer and feels at home and calls forth all Mothers- Mother Earth, Grandmother- the carriers and nurturers of life. Ruling the emotional plane, we “feel” and have “moods” based on the Moon. This Moon wants us to feel our rawest sensitivities, the truth of our sentiments, what brings us to tears and what warms our hearts to feeling the love one experiences from being nurtured, supported and protected. As these times point to “igniting” changes with these Planets carrying cardinal energy that is a good “kick-start” for action, we are encouraged to stay a bit detached with Venus and Mercury in Aquarius. Yet, all the backing to stand in your truth, whatever that is for YOU. Under this Full Moon, you will want to look where 14 degrees Cancer falls in your chart. This will reflect the area of your life that may be blooming with emotion. Cancer’s emotional sensitivities can lead to feelings of insecurity so know to give that shadow limited “showtime”. The Moon may be asking you to be true and honor that part of you that is being called “home”. Nurture, protect, and love your heart bringing forth the courage to embrace its FULLest expression.
