The Moon is in the sign of Cancer today, her natural placement or ruler so she feels very much at home. Home is very much a place the Moon likes to be. As the Great Mother, Mamakilla, she watches over us in the darkness as we rest and rejuvinate in the place we call home. The Moon wants to nurture the emotional body, help us feel safe and secure, and connected with our hearts. Today we have an opportunity to connect with our feelings, the support to mother ourselves and others, and check in with what our emotions want to say to us. In the early part of the day, the moon will flow with Neptune reminding us to be compassionate, open up to all that is, and pay attention to our dreams and synchronicities. The idea is to invite ourselves to feel and dream, engage the intuitive non-rational side of us, and not try to make logical sense of it as that may lead to confusion. Around noon Pacific Standard Time, the Moon will oppose Pluto in Capricorn. This could unearth emotions we have buried, kept at bay, or refused to look at consciously. As our subconscious emerges, we may feel some intensity and drama may pursue. Be aware of what may be the real issue in entanglements that seem to be over trivial matters. There may be an opportunity to get to the core of the issue and if we can avoid becoming overwhelmed, reactive or paralyzed by our emotions. After the Moon wrestles with Pluto throughout the afternoon and evening, she will meet up with Uranus. Uranus will be asking her to "awaken" to these subconscious emotional experiences and have a "breakthrough". Have the courage to see things differently, break open our emotional limitations and find new ways to open the heart.
