First FULL Moon of the Lunar New Year!

2/20/2019

FULL Moon in Virgo 2/19/19
The Sun has moved into Pisces soon thereafter is FULL Moon in Virgo. Both at 0 degrees ushers in a feeling of newness, the Fool in Tarot or beginning energy. This is the first FULL Moon after the Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year two weeks ago.

Virgo is the archetype of the Virgin, as there is some implied naivete. The essence that is important in Virgo is humility and approaching life as if there is constant and never-ending improvement. Of course, we aim for mastery, yet there is so much to be gained by viewing the world with a lens that says "perfection is evolving, and through effort, I can choose to do my best at all times". Virgo does not sit in ego, yet rather invites the perspective that perfection can come through moving with humility. When we have humility, we are open to different ways to be. Virgo accepts that through service, we honor ourselves and others, and move closer to perfection.

Mars is flowing in aspect to the Full Moon with its recent move into Taurus. Taurus does not rush and although Mars is the Planet of Will and Action, we are advised to slow down and be in our bodies. When we ground ourselves and allow for the subtle natural rhythms, we can find that we can move forward more effortlessly now. Chiron has moved into Aries asking us to have the courage and face our fears.

The Virgo FULL Moon reminds us that self- care and our health are very important. Through taking care of ourselves we can be an open channel to the greater mysteries and divinity in our world.
How can we slow down and tune into our body? What is our saying to us? If we choose to make decisions that align us with our greatest self-care in mind, what happens? Do we feel more connected to all that is?

I don't know what to say. I guess I am one of those people you would normally call "lunatic" without expressing any guilt nor disgust or whatsoever. I think it's not even odd anymore. It's normal for any woman to be crazy three times in four weeks of every month. They say it's because of the menstrual cycle. I think its what makes the world a little more interesting. You can be pretty but totally be unable to feel it. You can be the reason people want to kill themselves because they can't be you. Yet, you really can't have everything.
