Jupiter enters Sagittarius
Jupiter, King of the Gods, entered the home sign of Sagittarius yesterday. Jupiter is the Planet of Expansion and being the largest Planet to the Sun has a BIG presence. Sagittarius is FIRE and often associated with optimism and good luck. Fire is infectious energy, just like a blazing fire, it ignites what it comes into contact with. As Jupiter enters Sagittarius for one year, we may all bear good fortune. As of right now, the Moon and Mercury are also in Sagittarius so there is an alignment with our feelings and our communications. Sagittarius believes the answers lie just over the next horizon so the sense of possibility is strong. Known as the great adventurer and philosopher as a result of this belief keeping the engines and drive motivated to carry on no matter what arises. Jupiter EXPANDS what it touches and as we know in life there is always light and shadow to make life whole. In evolutionary astrology, the branch of astrology I practice, we believe that casting strong light also casts strong shadows. Life is a balance and we have a choice to choose the light side or the dark side. Much like we saw in Star Wars as Luke and Darth Vader were in contrast, one in the light and one showing the power of the dark side. In this way, what is dark Jupiter? Dark Jupiter can display things as too good to be true, or as something glistening so brightly we become blinded and lose perspective. It is the promise that is larger than life and never comes true. It is the seduction of optimism that can lead down a road of feeling manipulated if you lose grasp of what is really true for you. We can welcome and cherish what good things come our way this year, and also remember to not lose sight of ourselves. Always check in with your body and soul to see if you are in alignment. Enjoy the FIRE and hold to the belief that the answers are sitting just over the next horizon, waiting for you to discover them. #jupitersagittarius #sagittariusmoon #astrologyposts
