The Stars are Talking! 9.19.18
Today we find the Moon in Capricorn. It just went by Pluto, which can bring a more serious tone to life, as Capricorn is making sure we are reaching towards something of value, and Pluto leans into transformative work. Of greater interest at the moment is the Lunar Nodes. The Nodes of the Moon are not actual masses but points in space that indicate where the Moon crosses the Ecliptic. The Ecliptic is the path of the Sun in a year. When the Moon and Sun line up on the Ecliptic, we have an (drumroll)_____________________ ECLIPSE!!! In the context of Evolutionary Astrology, we refer to the South Node of the Moon (upside down horseshoe) as the Past that ideally you are bringing with you those learned talents as well as moving towards the North Node (horseshoe symbol that makes an N shape). When applied to the collective, we look at the Nodes when we see activity being triggered. Over the entire Summer Mars was hanging out with the South Node in a retrograde state. Retrogrades imply the past as well as the South Node. This put an energetic spin on all situations this Summer that made the energy field akin to the past. In the vain of Aquarius, the experience may have seemed a little unpredictable, without a filter, and/or traumatic. Aquarius is a sign of genius, and it arises thereby not following the herd and therefore, as a change agent can get a lot of flack. In our personal lives, we may have been reminded of old wounds and old traumas that pushed us in the direction of claiming our authentic selves, no matter how different we are. As we know, moving outside the box does not feel comfortable, yet it leads to liberation. Back to today, we find Uranus in Square aspect to the Nodes of the Moon. When this occurs, the Planet of Thunder and Lightning is interacting with the journey of our evolution. Uranus may decide to "shake things up" as it abhors routine and conditioned reality. Venus in Scorpio is across from Uranus, also squaring the Nodes. Venus rules relating to others and our values. Venus in Scorpio will seek to keep our relating really really real, no BS, no matter how hard it is for us. Ultimately, the potential to bring up experiences with others that may shock us or derail us, and we need to have in order to transform the muck into gold, and our best direction forward. Saturn will do his best to settle the potential chaos and remind us to look at the bigger picture and commit to what will stand the test of time. Hang on to your hats! It looks like by Saturday the Moon will move into Pisces bringing us into sentimental and romantic feelings. Venus will start to chill and the Sun will shift to Libra on Sunday asking us to consider the other and seek balance and peace. I think planets are alive and they talk to each other in a way humans may not be able to understand. Like trees, they are able to somehow share resources like nutrients to another. We just can't explain how these are being transferred. I heard that most of the stars we see in the sky have burned out already, yet we still see them because their light travelled to us before they do. Or maybe we don't really know what happened. They could have disappeared or reappeared somewhere and maybe that pretty much explains everything.
