​Venus Square Saturn
Venus, the goddess of Love, the Planet of what pleases us and what we find beautiful is "squaring" Saturn. Venus in Libra is about balance and the give and take in relationships. Saturn is the Lord of Karma and he asks us to commit. Saturn wants us to be noble, honorable, and respectable, finishing what we start, staying true to our word. Saturn teaches us that hard work pays off and Rome was not built in a day. When Saturn is in Capricorn, there is an emphasis on bringing something worthwhile into form. Staying committed for the long haul to bring something into fruition.

When the Planet Venus engages in a friction or tension with Saturn, we may feel some tension or friction in our relationships. Relationships are typically places of pleasure, until they are not. Libra wants harmony and fairness, the symbol of Justice. With this aspect, we have come to a crossroads and are asked to negotiate to bring back to equilibrium if necessary.

Saturn is checking in with us and asking if what we have built is aligning , should we continue to build our relationship? Whether in relationship or not, all those that you relate to may feel a certain level of "checks and balances". Is it an equal playing field or is there an imbalance? The shadow of Venus in Libra is to play nice and not rock the boat.

Chiron in Aries is also in the mix bringing that wound ' front and center' so it can be healed. Whatever is arising now is asking us to have the courage (Aries) to come to terms with whatever is ailing us and others in relating.

Uranus is in the stew as well "trining" Saturn and forming an "inconjunct" to Venus. Uranus may be saying, "whatever Saturn, get over it and break it open". "Enough with trying to have duty and be accountable, let's live day to day as more of a free spirit". Uranus is definitely the wild card rebel who pushes the limits of our stability. He will not stand for complacency. As much as he wants to stir the pot, the aim is to get us to be true to ourselves, no matter what that entails.

Remember to enter contemplation now is very well supported as many Planets are in retrograde. We may feel a level of frustration and tension, always knowing that the "pause" is recommended before any action right now.

Uranus Stations
Don't turn that dial, the station is broadcasting!  Uranus, the Planet of Thunderbolts and Lighting, oh very very frightening!  Sounds daunting, and yet this is the Planet of Liberation!  It is the player in the solar system that says "Hey, I will do my own thing, and march to the beat of my own drum".  It is a rebel of sorts as it rolls instead of spins, and even has a name that can be pronounced to say a naughty word.

Today it "stations".  What that means is it will move retrograde or appear to be spinning backwards,  and today it will stop or station.  When a Planet stations it is part of the process of changing directions.  For in order to go a different direction, we need to apply the brake (station) and then turn a different direction (retrograde).   

Uranus is the "Awakener" as it is one of the slow moving outer Planets and can bring to light the unexpected.  The purpose of the shift is always to "enlighten" or bring forward information that may result in change.  In that way,  we sometimes find  Uranian influence to be shocking as it may seem  to have come out of left field.  How else do you crack open that which may be so "stuck" ?

Of particular interest is that Uranus has been "squaring" the Nodes of the Moon.   These two points in space where the Moon crosses the Ecliptic reflect the evolving journey of growth.  The South Node or upside down horseshoe reflects the past and where we have been.  The North Node that looks like a horseshoe "N" reflecting where we are headed.
With Uranus putting tension through the square, that means there may have been unexpected events happening in our lives with the goal of getting us on the right track.  

In some sense, we can trust these shifts as they are built to bring into awareness our true calling. With Uranus turning  retrograde, the energy falls into the all the "RE" words.  Review, recalibrate, renew, reconsider, rectify, etc.  
Now is  the time to look at your journey and where you are headed and contemplate where you want to go.  What changes may have shown up for you lately,  and how are they landing with your ultimate vision?  Are there awakenings that have taken place?  How do you want to apply this new awareness into your unfolding story?

Many Planets are currently retrograde- Mars, Saturn, Pluto, Neptune, Mercury which means the undercurrent of the Universe is asking us to turn inward and consider where we are.  How do we want to move forward in the future?  Action around these changes will not be well supported right now so hold off on getting frustrating if things are not happening at the pace you would like.  Keep revisting the grander vision at play and take some time to review your journey.

Gemini is the symbol Roman Numeral 2 and is the sign of the Twins.  A quick moving  air sign that is ruled by the fastest Planet to orbit the Sun, Mercury.  Mercury is associated with communication as it is where we taking information in through listening and responding.   This dual function is represented by the "two-ness" or Twins, for you to communicate we need to give and receive.
With a Moon in Gemini, we may feel extra chatty or social today.  We may have lots of thoughts going on, information may be heard or felt.  A good way to use this energy would be to write or read, be open to anything that stimulates your mind.  Need to study or learn something?  Today would be a great day to feed your mind.

The Moon will interact with Mars today by a pleasing trine aspect.  Mars is the Planet of will and determination, the push that gets us out of bed in the morning.   At this time Mars is 'retrograde' or appearing to spin backwards in relation to Earth.  This is taking it's  toll on all  of us as we may feel we want to do something and move forward, however we quickly lose the "chutzpah".  Procrastination can be a killer right now.  The aim of this inward turning is to get us to review our journey and contemplate how we want to move forward.   We are particularly focused on the past and even the past traumas that may have gotten stuck.  As we open to awarenenss, we can heal these rough patches and move forward with greater grace when  Mars goes 'direct' on  August 28th.  
Venus enters Libra today from Virgo.  In the past month, we may have desired to improve our relations or been focused on the details.  Now with the Venus' entrance into Libra,  we may want a sense of camaraderie and to seek to balance and peace our relationships.  This is a good time to honor equality and negotiate, aiming to achieve an equal playing field.

​Today the Moon is in Taurus.
TTTTTaurus.  This is one  of the slowest moving signs as it's goal is to achieve calm after the warrior energy of Aries.  As an Earth sign,it tunes into the sensory world like an animal.  If it is hungry, it eats, if it feels tired, it sleeps...life is right down to the simplicity of existence.

Awww the breath, one of Taurus' key tools to keeping itself chill. We just passed the Last Quarter Moon mark yesterday where there may have been a tension or reflection as to what happened since the Full Moon a week ago.  Where have you felt called to put your energy?

​The Gemini Sun and Mercury are both at the 14 degree mark,  giving each other a little kiss.  In that connection,  they infuse each other with lots and lots of ideas and banter.  The mind may feel so  active today it almost seems hard to keep track of it all.  But not to worry, Gemini's greatest gift is filtering and keeping what truly matters and letting the majority of the data flow right on by.  It's fast and furious, and not about holding what would be overwhelming with the amount that will cross a Gemini's path.
With a dreamy Pisces Moon arriving early today, we may feel like we just want to notice what lies in and around us.  We may not feel oh so driven today, and are reminded to take in all your levels of awareness when you take a pause, be it dreams, the arts, or just a soft gaze upon the foreground.  Pisces has an active imagination and prefers to reside in the land of enchantment. Uranus enters Taurus today, May  15th at 9:33 am,  EDT.
Uranus spends about 7 years in a sign, so shifting into a new sign is nothing to batt an eye at.  Uranus is the wild card of the zodiac, responsible for the unpredictable, the genius who dares to think outside the box, and ultimately a planet that can bring 'awakening' or a shift in consciousness. 
Uranus, even the name can be pronounced a few ways, and one way speaks of the unspeakable body part.  "Your anus".  Jokes aside, the movement into rock steady stable,  slow moving Taurus sounds like the energy could be at odds with itself.  Liberate fixed, stubborn "bull-headed" energy ?  Does this mean the changes will not just happen overnight and in some shocking way, but rather a slow and steady build?  
If we look historically when  Uranus entered Taurus in 1934, we  find the beginning of the Security and Exchange Commission.  Money is big in the Taurus arena as it reflects our values.  We put our money where our mouth is and spend what we believe is worth our hard earned shillings. We may see changes economically that reset our values, to get us  more aligned with what we really need.  As Saturn moves through Capricorn,  the gluttony is not well tolerated now.   Uranus will  echo this sentiment, but not in such a rule-abiding  way.  Uranus is  electric, so the changes will swing in whatever means necessary to align with the real value.  How far have we travelled from knowing the simple value of something?  We charge on credit to purchase something in the now.  Uranus may have less patience for excess and that which is not truly necessary for survival.   
We  also find that Hitler was in power, a Taurus himself.  A horrendous tragedy that changed the daily struggle to survive for many people- let's not revisit this deep dark, and twisted shadow please!  This was shocking and revolutionary, which is Uranian.  Pluto was in Cancer- home and family were being transformed and that is a byproduct of that regime.   With Pluto in Capricorn now, the power is not to manipulate family (Cancer),  the power is about removing heirarchichal structures which hopefully will keep the tyrants at bay.
Taurus is truly about simplicity.   As we shift from trailblazing ,  fire energy Aries, to earthy, steady Taurus who seeks to take a breath after the chaos, our breath may become our best friend for the next 7 years.   Taurus recognizes it has a body and lives life from that mileu.  "Oh, I smell something and hear birds in the distance. ..Is that my stomach rumbling, should I eat something?  Now I am tired, let's have a nap."  Taurus lives from the body sensation and rhythm.  Just like an animal who listens to what the body is saying as a means for survival, we too are encouraged to tune in to the bodies messages, and let it set the pace.   
Slowing down and being still  are Taurus' gifts.  With Uranus shaking things up, we may be rattled back to our centers.  Not such a bad idea as rooting and grounding offer clarity in times of crisis, but the unpredictability of the correction may get interesting.   We can help ourselves with this adjustment by going back to the breath when we get rattled.  Uranus wants us to return to the body, to awaken consciousness of this earth suit.  We can choose to nurture ourselves through the 5 senses, and choose to align with our most beloved Earth and honor her.
In some ways, we have grown so far from the bare essentials for survival as a human race. Food, shelter, clothing are in excess for some humans and others still struggle daily to  have these basic needs met.  Taurus is  the survival master and we can expect lessons to flush out what we need and value to survive.  
And let's not forget Gaia, Mother Earth, Pachamama for she has supports us daily through our burdens.  We as a society have gotten a little detached from her as our focus has become directed towards technology and the less tangible.  Earth is our mother, offering everything we need to survive.  We will see a 'getting  back to nature' motif which will help rebalance this out of balance and detached way of treating our great Mother. 
And in saying all of this, we must remember that Uranus is unpredictable and aimed at bringing shifts in consciousness so we can 'wake up'.   Remember to breathe and ground, honor your connection to this sacred Earth as we shift into a new season of awareness.

This Libra Full Moon Blue Moon really stirs the relationship arena.  Libra, the symbol of the justice scales, proclaims fairness and equality.   When we meet the sign of Libra in the zodiac, we bring in the energy of another, and how to balance the give and take. 

When we look at the axis of Aries and Libra, we are in the polarity of Self and Other. The Sun is in Aries hanging tight with Mercury retrograde which  is walking us right down memory lane or unfinished business lane.  We may interact with those we need to say something to, an old friend may suddenly appear.  

Aries is about bravery and the courage to be yourself, the Warrior is the archetype.  Libra is fed by connection with others and pursues harmony.  Libra is keen to see many sides of a situation, which  leaves the  Libran somewhat undecided.  The goal is to strike a well-rounded choice after considering all positions.  

At play in this Full Moon moment is Saturn and Mars in Capricorn.  They are providing tension to this relationship axis and Saturn is not ready to suffer fools.  Saturn in Capricorn yearns for commitment and structure.  If the plan ain't working, ditch the plan and get one that works.  Mars can be punchy and lack patience when the fire and passion are ignited making for a warning to watch the temper these days or you may catch yourself leaving some words rather left unsaid.  It is in what we say 'balsalmic phase'  to Saturn or the final stage which may lead to endings.

As the Sun, Mercury, Moon, Saturn, and Mars are in Cardinal signs, this is also beginning energy or energy that ignites the new.  As the Moon shines a bright light on where we are in our relationships, our relationship to ourselves and others.   What are the messages?  Are there adjustments to be made in our relationships?  Are we in need of loving ourselves more?  How have our dependencies on others become out of balance?  Are we unwilling to lean on others and trust or are we not taking our own responsibility for ourselves?  How can we offer more of ourselves to others while still maintaining our power and passion?

This image of the Moon and the rock formation depicts Libra.  You can see the rocks are leaning on each other to make an arc.  If one rock  moves,  the balance would be off and the formation would crumble.  These rocks have found just the right amount of pressure and weight to pull this off.  This is what we strive for in relating- perfect harmony and balance, give-take, trusting the other 'rocks' can take your weight, offering your support and structure for the other 'rocks'.

     The Sun shifts into Aries this morning marking the Spring Equinox.  The Sun has moved halfway from  where it was at Winter Solstice in December, and in 3 months will  arrive at Summer Solstice in June.  This is the beginning of Spring.  You may have started to notice more birds and wildlife in your day to day experience, and more flowers and trees starting to bloom.  It feels like new birth is happening all around.
     Aries, this is the 1st zodiac sign, which would  imply it is the beginning, the start.  In the pagan calendar,  this is the NEW YEAR- not in the cold of winter as we celebrated in the Northern Hemisphere, in the season of Capricorn.  Aries is FIRE, it is the raw and purest form of passion.  Just as the strike of a match explodes into a spark, Aries ignites.  In a split second, Aries follows the explosion, bursting into life.  With boundless courage and setting aside fear,  it is the WARRIOR.  Aries responds to the call in an instant, without a lot of forethought.  For in Tarot, we associate it with the FOOL. 
     Lately we have been in awareness of the wound we carry with the Sun in Pisces right next to Chiron.  We are moving into Aries now,  still within sight of the wound,  but feeling the strength to move forward with courage.  
Aries is Cardinal energy and we associate that mode with "starting the engines" and initiation.  Cardinal signs begin and get things rolling.  The 4 cardinal signs reflect pivotal moments in the zodiac- equinoxes and solstices. 
     We find Mars in Capricorn, another Cardinal Sign, in square or tension to Aries.  Mars rules Aries and yet, is asking for Aries to cool it's jets a bit and have some sort of  plan.  Capricorn admires the courage and passion of  Aries, but requests it not just go full steam ahead.  Capricorn wants to be productive, much like Aries, however as it is an Earth Sign with some experience under it's belt, it is wise to the value of thinking things through.  
     As you embark on your own journey with the Aries Sun, what is it that you want to start?  What do you want to initiate with all your passion , while still coming up with a strategic plan of action?      The New Moon in Pisces is about surrendering and having compassion for our deepest wound.  Like the Centaur,  Chiron who was half horse, half man and had a wound that would not heal, he learned the lessons of that wound.  In learning to accept that the wound would  not kill him, as he was immortal, he was able to use that wound's wisdom to help  and heal others.  
     The Moon and Sun are right next to Chiron  at this New Moon making it a very rich time to go within and offer ourselves compassion around what ails us.  Being in the sign of Pisces, we may want help from our dreams, our imagination, and the spirit realm as Pisces is all about the transcendent world or non rational reality.  God, Goddess, Buddha, Allah, Archangels,  whatever is your place of peace in times of crisis where you find the faith to carry on and just believe. 
     It is time to plant a seed and offer that wound which may be your ultimate teacher acceptance and compassion.  For through the journey we can come through to our ultimate essence, stronger and able to offer service to others.  Take a moment to  align with your faith and ask for some transcendence and healing of that wound.  You may choose to turn over or surrender some of your pain, acknowledging it will  always be with you on your journey, but ultimately transformed to something that becomes your greatest strength.

Full Moon in Virgo- the Virgin, the Servant, the Maiden, the Perfectionist
With a Full Moon in Virgo, we may feel the intensity of what may need 'a fixing'. Virgo is an Earth element sign and when working with the material world it excels. Virgo keeps us busy and intentional as we move about accomplishing the somewhat mundane tasks of living. Virgo sees the potential and promise of daily effort. It knows the importance of being prepared. Virgo understands the importance of growing or nurturing new life, so will be the ones to know in any crisis. 
This Full Moon may bring in the shadow of Virgo which is worry and doubt. Being a sign ruled by Mercury, the communication Planet, Virgo has a tendency to get lost in thoughts. The "doer" quality of this sign seems to counter the mental anquish, especially if one can feel useful and competent.
The Pisces ship is sailing with the Sun, Neptune, Mercury, Venus and Chiron in Pisces. Pisces is the imaginative, dreamy, meditative sign that opposes Virgo. Living from the water, it is a more of a flowing feeling sign that prefers to stay clear of mundane reality. Pisces gravitates towards the ethereal, the less physical, that which we cannot always explain in words. The Mystic that has one part of self on the earth plane and the other part communing with spirit. 
Pisces shadow can be illusion and martyrdom as it gets caught trying to apply the rules of the spirit world to the material world. The rules of the material world will not work in the spirit world either. Pisces is learning how to just be and surrender to what is. Watch for lessons around this arising now.
This is an excellent time to imagine, well beyond rational reality. Counterbalancing you may start to drift away, will be the mighty Virgo Moon reminding you that each step on Earth creates something.
Working together Pisces and Virgo realize together, they can bring a little bit of heaven down to Earth.

The Partial Solar Eclipse is in Aquarius at 27 degrees. A Solar Eclipse always occurs during a New Moon, and a Lunar Eclipse occurs at Full Moon.
If you remember back to the Total Solar Eclipse across the US in August 2017, what was up for you then? The Eclipse in August was in Leo at 28 degrees and this Solar Eclipse is exactly opposite to that point in the sky/chart, as it was just about 6 months ago.
Eclipses are weird. They defy normal reality. When the Sun or Moon are obscured, it is not what we expect. In this way, around eclipses, things can shift. New openings are rooted. People and situations appear to help shift you to this new level, this new direction. Life may look strange or you may not correlate this instance with an eclipse, however, looking back later you might realize this was a pivotal moment.
What is the energy around all of this? AQUARIUS
Aquarius is the rule breaker that prefers not to boxed or categorized, but allows for ingenuity along the way. Aquarius sees the big picture and can bring groups together like no other. The altruism associated with this sign, and slightly detached emotionality can make moments with Aquarians feel electric and eclectic. Known for being mental geniuses, it helps to have those emotional currents set aside at times so that mental breakthroughs can arise.
With a beautiful stimulation from the ruler of Aquarius, none other than the most peculiar named Planet URANUS. UR_(ANUS)_. It's name plays with the socially accepted notion of politeness when pronounced a certain way. This Planet rolls, rather than spins. It is all about originality and following your individual path, no matter what others think.
Uranus is in the sign of Aries offering the courage one needs to march to the beat of their own drum. Aries is the Trailblazer, the Warrior, and this bolsters our ability to access that which wants to come through our higher mind. We could experience flashes of insight, an out of the blue idea that is pure genius, and the like.

The New Moon in Capricorn is approaching.  Pay attention to anything that arises for you now especially that is trying to take form.   Capricorn is about the long haul.  The planning and the execution of what the soul longs  for.  Step into it.  

We have many Planets in Capricorn now.  The energy has been heavy to say the least.  It is like standing on the edge of a cliff and it starts to pour, raining heavily upon you.  But you feel a strength from the wind at your back and the beautiful landscape before you.  It takes energy but something in  you keeps your chest up open to the sky and your feet firmly planted on the ground.  You know where you need to go.  What you need to do.  Can  you commit?
