![]() It seems like finals, the last test, when you are aware of how prepared you are and also what you may need to do to pass the test. We have Mercury “stationing” in the last degree of Virgo, just about to take its retrospective trip down memory lane. As Mercury is the fastest Planet moving around the Sun, mirroring the swiftness of our mental activity, it is time to take a little pause, a breath. If we choose to move at the same pace that we have, we hit roadblocks, traffic jams, computer failures, flat tires, typos and spelling errors. We know the drill as Mercury receives a lot of press during its retrograde cycles throughout the year. It is ideal to give yourself more time to get places, double check those emails before hitting send, and engage in the “re” activities such as review, reconsider, renew, revise, and remember, rather than trying to embark on something new. Last week, we had both Saturn and Mars leave retrograde motion and start moving forward again beyond the shadow after a 6 month retrospective journey inward. As Mars engages our will and our gumption to get out of bed in the morning, it may feel easier to climb the mountain now. We may feel more directed and able to make traction with our efforts. Mix that in with the Mars squaring the Nodes of the Moon, otherwise known as Rahu and Ketu. The Nodes relate to the past, where we have been, and where we are stretching towards in this lifetime if we desire to evolve. Neptune in Pisces is meeting up with Ketu/ the South Node, the past, our habits and instinctive responses. Neptune wants to spiritualize whatever it touches through the process of release and surrender to something greater than itself, be it God, or whatever we believe to be the great maestro of our mystical universe. Its mantra is “Let Go “and so we are advised to let our old habits fall away if they no longer serve our growth. Across the table sits the Sun approaching Rahu/the North Node, our future and the path we cannot clearly see as we have not yet navigated this new terrain. The Sun in Virgo is shining a bright light on our potential direction should we choose to accept the mission of evolving during this lifetime. As a collective, moving in the direction of Virgo from Pisces involves steady, earthly, daily endeavors that are rooted in humble service to ourselves and others focused on noticing what we can be improved- what appears to be a chink in the armor is good fodder for the Virgo. Virgo wants to maintain the aim of trying to use the keen eye of discrimination to improve upon something. In essence when you move from Pisces to Virgo, it can be about bringing Heaven to Earth. Thursday is a Solar Eclipse so there can be sudden job changes, relationship changes, and people coming in and also leaving this world. I will be posting another article to go into more details. But until then, know that the energy is quite dramatic at the moment and this too shall pass. Our experiences our helping us to grow and evolve even though sometimes it may not feel that way at the moment. Peace, Jen
